Are you NEW to HG? Are you returning to exercise and want to feel confident in your form? Perhaps you are recovering from an injury and you would like suggestions for modifications to use in all HG classes? Maybe you just want a reminder of form and alignment to be sure you get the most out of all HG classes? If you said YES to any of those questions then this the class for YOU! In this Intro class, Katie will give you all of the tools you need to feel confident in every HG class. This basic strength class will move slowly focusing on form and alignment. Katie will help you find and use your core to prevent injury, and she will prepare you for success on your fitness journey at HG! We recommend TWO Intro classes for those who are returning to exercise after a long period of inactivity.
The Beat Goes On is BAAAACK! Join us to kick off Heart Health Month with this special heart pumping event! This class is capped at 40 people. We encourage those NEW to cycle to come try and we welcome members to bring a friend or spouse - anyone not NEW must bring someone NEW to The Beat Goes On! The class consists 30-ish minutes of cardio on the bike with Sarah and 30-ish minutes of stretchy vinyasa flow with a fun Friday night playlist with Heather (in a DAL studio next door to cycle). Wherever you start, know that we all finish with beer, wine, RealCleanPaleo appetizers, and pizza from DeVille to relax and socialize. The event is from 6:00-8:00 PM. Join us for the First Friday of February and wear RED for this RED HOT Yoga Flow Class! Friday, Feb. 7th is National Wear Red Day for Heart Health. Join Stephanie for a fabulous HOT yoga class with a rockin' playlist and plenty of sweaty flow. Bring your spouse or a friend to try. The healing benefits of the infrared heat are amazing. This class is for ALL levels - there are always modifications. Bring a yoga mat, a water bottle, and a sweat towel. There are some yoga mats to use at the studio. This class ends in savasana with a cold lavender cloth across your sweaty head. Namaste!
Happy Valentines Day! Come sweat it out with your sweetie in this one hour warm slow flow class featuring live acoustic guitar and vocals by Jim Carroll. All levels are welcome. Invite your spouse or a friend ... someone you LOVE. Bring a water bottle, a sweat towel, and your yoga mat. There are some mats for use at the studio. "Yoga is one of many paths to find happiness. Where there is happiness, there is love for another being — whether it is your soul mate, your sibling, your child, your best friend, animal companion, or even a stranger. Girl Power WINTER Bootcamp is BACK! Girls ages 6-11 who want to dance, build strength, and find a mind-body connection through yoga will love this class! Each week the girls will learn a different aspect of STRENGTH, they will learn about overall fitness, and gain CONFIDENCE. Each class ends with a different yoga theme, meditation and essential oil. All girls should wear comfortable clothing and sneakers. Girls can use the studio yoga mats or bring their own mat. Water will be provided.
