In the summer of 2016, I opened Heather’s Gym on First Street. My vision was a community studio where I would know everyone by name. A studio where my instructors could be creative with different equipment so we could deliver a fantastic variety of workouts! I envisioned a studio where the purpose of being fit is to feel great and enjoy your life.
A little more than a year after opening Heather’s Gym, I opened Libertyville’s first and only indoor cycling studio, HG Cycle. We closed HG Cycle in October 2020 and moved cycle to our First Street studio in preparation for expanding our cycle offerings. I am thrilled to announce that RPM Cycle & Bootcamp just opened. It is a gorgeous new studio with 24 bikes, strength equipment and TRX. We have an outdoor area for Bootcamp classes too.
I love being a boutique studio owner because it allows me the special opportunity to connect with members, respond to their wants and needs, and truly have a positive impact on our community. I offer my members EVERYTHING they need for balanced fitness with incredible support and accountability.
I believe that exercise should be fun and a celebration of what our bodies can do! Come try a class and have some fun while making your body fit.
Here at Heather's Gym in Libertyville our philosophy is: MIX IT UP and have FUN! And have fun, we do! We have the best instructors around, great music, and lots of laughs! We are known for our friendly environment where everyone feels welcome and everyone gets a great workout - clients work at their own level in our group classes.
Our instructors bring their expertise and personal style to classes such as Tabata Training, Barre, U-JAM, PEAK Performance, Pilates, Kettlebell Interval Training, and Hot Yoga - and very soon STEP! Instructors are creative with their classes and treat their classes like a personal training session with a fun group vibe.
willPower & Grace (based on the willpower Method) is a rhythmic, cardiovascular barefoot bodyweight conditioning workout based on scientific “Power Posturing,” flow and positive mental coaching.
